How will the UK Summer Bank Holiday and US Labour day affect trading hours?
Our trading hours for these bank holidays in 2025 are as follows, all listed in Dubai time:
Monday 25 August 2025 - UK Summer Bank Holiday
- UK equities, index futures, soft commodities and interest rates will be closed.
- We'll be making an out-of-hours price on the FTSE until futures re-open at 4am on Tuesday.
- Brent Crude and London Gas Oil will be open as normal. UK Natural Gas futures will be closed.
- New York Cocoa, Coffee and Sugar contracts will open at 3.30pm.
Please note that there will be no LBMA Gold
Fix on 25 August.
Monday 1 September 2025 - US Labor Day
- US Index futures will close early at 9pm. We'll offer out-of-hours pricing from 9pm until midnight. The futures re-open at 2am on Tuesday.
- European indices will close at midnight and re-open at 2am on Tuesday.
- US equities and soft commodities will be closed.
- US interest rates will close early at 9pm.
- US metals and energies will close early at 10.30pm.
- Brent Crude, London Gas Oil and ICE WTI will close early at 9.30pm.
- London Sugar will close early at 8pm.
- The VIX will close early at 7.30pm.
